A faculty team charged with designing the new yearlong FIELD course — short for Field Immersion Experiences for Leadership Development — in the first year of the MBA Program has been meeting regularly since January. The walls and panels of the group’s special conference room are filled with flow charts and notes on modules aimed at delivering throughout the year small-group learning experiences that are experiential, immersive, and field-based. HBS plans to roll out FIELD this fall.
Pictured, clockwise from left, are Joshua Margolis, Josh Coval, Alan MacCormack, Tony Mayo, Barbara Siegfriedt (director, MBA Student and Academic Services), and Clayton Rose. Not present are Frances Frei (head of the design team and chair of the Required Curriculum), Rawi Abdelal, Fritz Foley, and Andy Zelleke.
