Rakhi Mehra (MBA ’09), cofounder of micro Home Solutions, is the 2011 recipient of the HBS Social Entrepreneurship Fellowship. Based on the principles of community involvement, affordability, and sustainable design, the New Delhi–based organization takes an interdisciplinary approach to providing a portfolio of economically viable housing solutions to underserved populations, drawing on the expertise of sociologists, urban planners, architects, engineers, and policymakers.
