Gordon Jones didn’t tailor his career path to become the ideal director for the Harvard innovation lab. It just worked out that way. An entrepreneur with two US patents and 15 years of marketing and sales experience with Fortune 500, midsized, and start-up companies, Jones also has a background in education, having taught marketing as an adjunct lecturer at Bentley University outside Boston. Most recently, he worked with MBA Admissions in evaluating applicants to HBS.
“I was bitten by the entrepreneurship bug at an early age, and having helped launch several start-ups, I understand what it takes to bring a business concept from idea to fruition,” said Jones. “I am very excited to make the i-lab a valuable resource for all.”
