Former Electronic Arts CFO Blake Jorgensen (MBA 1988) has been named the new CFO at PayPal, the Wall Street Journal reported this week.
In addition to his decade as chief financial officer at Electronic Arts, Jorgensen has also served as CFO at Levi Strauss and Yahoo. He was named to Hasbro’s Board of Directors in April, with the toymaker’s CEO Chris Cocks noting that Jorgensen’s “expertise, leadership skills, and strategic growth mindset have been critical to the long-term success of digital gaming powerhouse Electronic Arts.”
As for his new role, PayPal’s CEO Dan Schulman noted during a recent earnings call that the company is “looking for additional ways to improve efficiency and productivity, which could include scaling back on real estate and shifting hiring to lower-cost locations,” the Journal reported.
