When they’re not helping to make a difference in the world, HBS alumni find numerous ways to unwind. These pursuits can include reading, playing golf, sailing, running, and a number of other activities that keep their feet firmly planted on the ground.
Alejandro Montagna (MBA 1996) is a different case entirely. As a skydiver and extreme wingsuit pilot, relaxation for him means traveling at speeds in excess of 170 miles per hour while thousands of feet in the air.
In this video interview, Montagna, who is director of K2 Partners in Argentina, reflects on his extreme life, explains why “fear is his friend,” and breaks down why cold calls and jumping out of a plane have a lot in common.
