Topics: News-School NewsEducation-Campus LifeEducation-Business EducationPlanning-ProgramsEducation-Curriculum and CoursesIn June, 90 young leaders from nine US cities convened for three days of case discussions focused on cross-sector collaborative efforts to improve workforce skills, education, infrastructure, and entrepreneurship in their home region. This is the third year that YALP—the Young American Leaders Program—has been offered under the auspices of the School’s US Competitiveness Project.
HBS launched a new joint master’s degree program in partnership with the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, which will confer an MBA and a Master of Science in Engineering Sciences beginning August 2018.

New to Spangler lawn this summer: Erwin Wurm’s Big Disobedience, one of three new scuptures on loan to the School’s ongoing contemporary sculpture exhibition. The piece was inspired in part by an essay by Henry David Thoreau, who graduated from Harvard 180 summers ago.
HBS will partner with Harvard’s SEAS and Department of Statistics to offer the Harvard Business Analytics Program, an executive-level course targeting the need to leverage data and analytics to drive business impact.
