Japan Research Center Names New Executive Director

In August, Nobuo Sato (MBA ’82) assumed his duties as executive director of the Japan Research Center (JRC) in Tokyo. Sato’s business career has spanned three decades, most recently encompassing fifteen years at Egon Zehnder International, where he launched the firm’s Tokyo-based financial services practice group and oversaw all executive searches in the financial sector. In addition, he managed a corporate governance practice group. Prior to Egon Zehnder, Sato worked for fifteen years in the Tokyo and London offices of the Industrial Bank of Japan, now part of the Mizuho Financial Group.
