The Cole Room in Baker Library offers an extensive range of useful information for alumni conducting a job search. Resources include a database of more than twenty thousand alumni career advisors, printed and electronic files with information on more than seventeen hundred companies that have recruited at HBS, industry-specific directories, numerous business-related periodical databases, and video- and audiotapes from recruiting companies.
Cole Room professionals, experts in finding and using career- and job-related information, guide alumni - in person, via phone, or online - through the wide range of resources on hand. In addition, Cole Room librarians will perform customized job research for alumni for a fee. These searches can range from screening for lists of companies based on industry and geographic criteria, to conducting comprehensive research on a company in preparation for an interview. For more information regarding any Cole Room services, please contact Mallory Stark, career resources librarian, at 617-495-5927, or email mstark@hbs.edu.
