The second in a series of profiles of the twelve new members of the HBSAA Board of Directors.
Since 1987, H. Perry Driggs, Jr. (MBA '61), has been president of Great Lakes Capital Corporation in Farmington Hills, Michigan. He serves as a director of a number of corporations including Detroit Mortgage & Realty and Michigan Heritage Bancorp. He has led several community organizations, such as the Lansing Symphony, Capital Area United Fund, and the Voluntary Action Center in Lansing. Born in New York City and raised in Wilmette, Illinois, he earned an AB from Harvard College and an MS from Northwestern University before coming to Soldiers Field. Driggs and his wife, Lorraine, have six children.
Edward F. Fischer (71st PMD) is vice president of manufacturing technologies and operations at Duro Industries in Fall River, Massachusetts. He has spent the last decade at Duro, where he has held several vice presidential posts. Fischer is a member of the Bishop's Council of Rhode Island and serves on three advisory boards at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. A native of Providence, Rhode Island, Fischer is a graduate of Boston College, where he studied economics and philosophy. He and his wife, Lisa, live in Rhode Island with their two children.
Robert A. Hut (12th OPM) is executive vice president of Tams-Witmark Music Library, Inc., which licenses to the world market the stage performance rights of Broadway musical shows. He is also vice president of Stage Musicals, Ltd. A New York native, Hut earned an AB in economics from Princeton University, where he served as treasurer of his class and in various alumni positions. He is also on the executive committee of the New York OPM Association. Hut and his wife, Betty, collect Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau, and Art Deco, with an emphasis on ceramics and related objects.
Cincinnati native Samuel Huttenbauer, Jr. (MBA '55), is CEO of American Nutriceuticals, a medical foods firm based in his hometown. A graduate of Harvard College, Huttenbauer joined the Army after earning his MBA. He has served as CEO of E. Huttenbauer and Son, United Beef Producers, and Huttenbauer Foods. He is also CEO of High Pressure Research. Over the years, he has played an active role in several community and educational organizations, including HBS, Harvard College, the Cincinnati Playhouse, and the Cincinnati Convention and Visitors Bureau. He and his wife, Gail, enjoy skiing in their spare time. They have two grown children, both of whom are Harvard graduates.
