Last fall, Dean Kim B. Clark and Senior Associate Dean Steven C. Wheelwright spent five days in South America, visiting three cities in Brazil and Argentina. Clark, Wheelwright, and a small delegation from the School were welcomed by Harvard and HBS alumni clubs and by numerous business and academic leaders, many of whom are HBS graduates. The trip allowed the HBS contingent to give some 250 Harvard alumni an update from Soldiers Field and to discuss the School's expanding role in South America. Wheelwright will be the faculty leader of new research efforts in the region.
