As anyone with a Twitter account can tell you, the marriage of tech and politics is growing ever tighter. The three HBS alumni who appear on WIRED’s recent “20 Tech Insiders Defining the 2016 Campaign” are good examples of how Washington is turning to Silicon Valley for a boost.
Featured in the article: Stephanie Hannon (MBA 2004), CTO for Hillary Clinton’s campaign and former product director at Google; Sheryl Sandberg (MBA 1995), COO of Facebook, who is “leveraging her influence with Lean In followers to mobilize female voters”; and Rob Saliterman (MBA 2011), Snapchat’s head of political ad sales.
