New on the Web at Alumni Career Services
Topics: Career-Career PlanningPersonal Development-GeneralEducation-TrainingHBS alumnae seeking to return to the workforce and all alumni interested in board positions now have new tools on the Alumni Career Services Web site to assist in their search.
The “on-rampers” résumé database was designed exclusively for HBS alumnae to help them make contact with employers interested in professional women reentering the workforce. The database makes it easy to post a résumé and create an online profile from which employers can search for candidates. The résumé database is for alumnae who are ready to return to the workforce within the next six months. For those not at that point of readiness, the Alumni Career Services Web site provides a range of useful resources and programs.
Men and women interested in serving on public or private boards also have a new résumé database designed to help them connect with businesses and organizations in need of board members. Once interested alumni post résumés and online profiles, their information will be made available to executive search firms and organizations looking for board candidates.
“These new initiatives — literally the first of their kind — reflect our commitment to alumni at different stages of their career development,” says Chris Sullivan, director of Alumni Career Services. “We created these new online tools in response to many requests from our alumni, and we believe they will serve alumni well.”
