More than 1,600 alumni and guests packed their bags and headed to campus in late September to attend reunion celebrations for the MBA Classes of 1951, 1961, 1966, 1971, 1976, and 1981, and the 1908 Society, which includes all members of classes commemorating their 60th Reunion and beyond.
By day, attendees got a chance to reexperience the classroom. The academic program on Friday offered more than two dozen faculty presentations, covering topics ranging from health-care reform to entrepreneurial wisdom. On Saturday morning, presentations by HBS faculty and staff and by Harvard University faculty ranged from an overview of the School’s commitment to its global research centers to an insider’s research findings on religious terrorists. When class was dismissed, there was plenty of time left for off-campus social events.
