Greyser Honored for Sports Business Achievement

Chapman Professor of Business Administration, Emeritus, has received the 2010 Sports Marketing Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Marketing Association in recognition of his “distinguished career contributions to the scientific understanding of sports business.” A member of the HBS faculty for over forty years, Greyser developed and taught The Business of Sports, the first such course offered at a leading business school, and coauthored the field’s principal text and casebook. He still supervises MBA student field studies and serves as faculty adviser to the HBS Business of Sports Club. He now teaches his course at Harvard Extension School.
