Networking Isn't Guesswork-It's Science
Do you find networking like a shot in the dark—hoping for lucky breaks? What if you approached networking conversations with the curiosity and rigor of a researcher? The scientific method isn't just for labs; it's a powerful framework for networking that uncovers hidden professional opportunities and makes data-driven career decisions possible. If you are one of the many people who dread networking, find it awkward, or maybe just want to network smarter, join us for this interactive HBS alumni networking workshop. We will discuss the benefits of applying the scientific method to networking. This framework when applied to gathering market information and navigating professional decision points - removes the typical barriers in networking, chips away at uncertainty, and plays to a human tendency to learn from each other. We will also exam alumni case studies that bring home the real blockers and advantages of thinking like a scientist when it comes to networking.
