Expanding Perspectives Across Board Leadership

The HBS Board Diversity Network connects HBS alumni from underrepresented groups with corporate board opportunities by:

  • Creating channels for companies to find diverse HBS alumni candidates;
  • Fostering discussions about diversity in the boardroom and effective governance;
  • Distributing relevant content and resources and highlighting HBS alumni in the boardroom, sharing insights and important information for anyone who is aspiring to join a board or in the process of joining one;
  • Promoting and identifying programming and educational offerings, leveraging HBS resources and access;
  • Activating the HBS network for board opportunities that can benefit the HBS alumni community.

By leveraging the global HBS network and strategic external relationships, the Board Diversity Network is a one-stop shop for content on what you need to become a board member and how to get there.

We aim to connect exceptional alumni with board opportunities and accelerate the placement of underrepresented candidates on private and public company boards.

How Does It Work?

Step 1: Sign up to receive the HBS Alumni Board Diversity Network “BDN” Newsletter to stay up-to date on board trends and information related to board diversity and board readiness, learn about education forums and networking events - SIGN UP FORM

Step 2: Create (or access) your profile on Equilar. If you would like to create a profile that is included in the ExecAtlas platform, please use this google form to opt in. All interested members will receive an email invitation with an access link to edit an existing profile or build a new one. If you have already signed up, you will simply receive a reminder email with your login credentials.
