- Navigating a Career Transition
If you are currently in a career transition or contemplating a career move, know that you can expect employer decision-making to slow down overall. Some industries will be more susceptible to a potential business downturn while others may be well-positioned to weather the storm. Our advice is to be practical if you are in sub-optimal roles or circumstances at your current employer and you should do your best to wait things out. There is no harm, however, in continuing to look for the next role but make sure to do up-front research into the COVID-19 impact on the industry and company. We invite you to email cpd@hbs.edu so that we can support you and connect you with a Career Coach if you would like to discuss your situation more in depth.
