The HBS Campaign sets a vision for the future
Highlights from Regional Events of The Harvard Business School Campaign during 2014 and 2015.
Harvard Business School is redefining management education for the 21st century.
Our pioneering use of case-method learning enables our students to understand
the challenges leaders face. We are also developing innovative approaches that
incorporate more field-based, hands-on perspective to ensure our programs
offer the best education available, and that our graduates set a new standard of leadership.
HBS and its faculty are committed to excellence in teaching and research.
Our faculty have been at the forefront of management understanding, developing
the ideas and tools that have shaped business practice. The School's continued
leadership depends on its ability to attract and cultivate an outstanding faculty
that creates and disseminates knowledge and breakthrough ideas
that are more global and increasingly complex.
The School's future requires an ability to provide a perspective that is global in scope.
Through our recruitment of talent from all regions of the globe, the depth of our
educational programs, and our development dissemination of global knowledge,
HBS is shaping the perspective, knowledge, and insight of leaders throughout the world.
To ensure that our impact on society is broad and deep, the HBS community
needs to reflect society at large. Each member of the community must be
able to do their best work at HBS. For the School to truly have global impact,
we must ensure that we recruit faculty, staff, and students who represent
the broad perspectives of society at large.
HBS is part of one of the greatest universities in the world. Increasing the
integration of Harvard's intellectual activities offers tremendous potential
to address society's most complex problems. Just as today's challenges
are multi-faceted, their solutions will only come with collaboration across
traditional boundaries. Our investment in integration activities signifies
our firm belief that the parts of the University will achieve more
collectively than they would individually.
