From the @theharbushbs:
“There were many children born to soldiers in Vietnam that were not brought back to the US. Not a day goes by where I don't think about how different my life could be.” -Mark Tatum (MBA 1998)
We’re excited to share this special edition of Between Two Classes, an interview series where we explore how members of the HBS community see the world and why.
Mark is the Deputy Commissioner and COO of the @nba. We caught up with Mark during HBS’s Entertainment, Media, and Sports conference in March 2024.

From #HBS Professor Mitchell Weiss (MBA 2004, Section F, @wethepossibility):
“‘Storrowed’ is not just a Boston-based verb, but now an AI exercise.
“A driver, stuck yet-again behind an over-height truck and an under-height bridge, wondered ‘What would AI have to say about why this keeps happening?’ That driver was me.
“What became a quick exploration in my course @harvardhbs is now an almost weekly exercise with different groups from around the globe. All to get people to put fingers on keys and see for themselves some of generative AI’s latest possibilities and limits.
“One participant told me, ‘I’ve never been so exhilarated and terrified in one morning.’”
