Community
This is the new, enhanced home of the Alumni Directory, where you can update your profile, build your network of HBS contacts, and stay connected to classmates and friends. It also is the place to find news that alumni submit about themselves when they update their profile, submit a Class Note, use the new Share a Note tool, or are mentioned in an article in the Stories section.
Log In; Get Connected
If you come to the Community section without being logged in, you will see a message and prompt to log in. Since the Community section contains personal news and notes from fellow alumni, this section is password protected for your privacy. You must log in to view Community.
News from the Network
When you log in, you'll automatically see news and updates from your specific class (your "Community"). If you have added friends to your online Network (see below), you'll see their news first and news from the wider Community below that.
Share a Note
In addition to the quarterly Class Notes in the Bulletin, you can use the new Share a Note tool to instantly post personal or professional updates to your classmates and your My Network friends. You can even share photos. Best of all, you can also use Share a Note to send your updates directly to your Class Secretary.
Building Your Network
Whenever you see a mention of an alumnus who shares your professional or personal interests, your industry or location, and more—whether in an article, in Class Notes, or by searching the Directory—you can click on his or her name to instantly view their profile. Look for the "Add to My Network" link to include that person in your personalized "community" to help you stay in touch.
Community Updates
The latest news from your personal network, as well as your classmates (your "Community"), is collected here in a live feed of profile updates and news coverage.
Find a Friend
In addition to the Search the Directory tool at right, you can use these filtering tools to narrow your search for alumni you're interested in connecting with. Sort by recent updates, their program or graduation year, and geographic location.
