New Venture Contest Returns

Enter the 2nd annual Alumni New Venture Contest. Judging will be held by 16 HBS Alumni Clubs in 12 regions during February and March. The winner of each local contest will compete in the finals, to be held on campus April 25–26, 2011, for a $25,000 prize.

HBS Launches Innovation Incubator

Harvard University will open its first lab for innovation and entrepreneurship in fall 2011. The Harvard Innovation Lab, developed by HBS, will provide collaboration space for student entrepreneurs across the University, access to HBS Entrepreneurs-in-Residence, support by faculty and administrators, and a broad program of related activities.

Evolution of Credit: New Baker Exhibit

Installment plans, credit cards, and home financing may be relatively new, but credit is as old as commerce. "Buy Now, Pay Later" looks at the evolution of lending, borrowing, and the credit industry, tracing how personal borrowing has become decidedly public.
