HBS Working Knowledge: Radical Design, Radical Results Innovative design is increasingly important to customers. Witness the success of Apple's iPod and iMac. HBS visiting scholar Roberto Verganti says design-driven innovation is not user-centered but comes from an organization's vision of what its product means in society. Learn more in Working Knowledge.

Faculty in the News Could Internet king-of-the-hill Google one day find itself following the same declining path as General Motors? Professor Richard Tedlow writes in The American that the last thing executives want to do is remind themselves that bad things happen to good companies. To achieve long-term success, Tedlow says managers must fight through the fog of wishful thinking to get to the truth about their business.
