Commercializing Science and High Technology

On April 26, 2007, 19 student teams from HBS and Harvard's schools of Medicine, Law, Engineering, Government, Public Health, and Arts and Sciences will present commercialization projects for scientific discoveries made predominantly in University research labs and affiliated hospitals. The program is open to alumni and takes place on the HBS campus from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm in Spangler Center's Williams Room.

In a unique paper by Associate Professor Lee Fleming, doctoral student Matt Marx, and Research Associate Deborah Strumsky the authors look at the implications of "noncompetes" for day-to-day behavior, careers, regional business development, and policymakers.
