HBS, Kennedy School Announce New Joint Degree Program

HBS, Kennedy School Announce New Joint Degree Program

A new joint degree program between HBS and Harvard's Kennedy School of Government will prepare students to lead in business, government, and the non-profit sector. The program will blend offerings from the current required and elective curricula of both schools along with new, specially designed courses and seminars, and a program of two summer internships. December 2–13, 2007: Module 3 (HBS, Boston, MA, USA)

HBS has partnered with leading Chinese business schools to offer this intensive program designed for senior executives from Chinese state-owned and private companies and also for leaders of multi-national companies with operations in China. Taught in a Chinese and English bi-lingual format, the curriculum is presented in three two-week modules, and focuses on recent trends in China and the world. Nonprofit Board Leadership

Join HBS professors Dutch Leonard and Warren McFarlan for a new half-day program exclusively designed for HBS alumni and spouses who serve on nonprofit boards. Address issues of critical concern including creating productive working relationships between the board and CEO, and understanding the differences between for-profit and nonprofit board membership. Course dates are May 22, 2007, in San Francisco and June 8, 2007, in Boston.

Commercializing Science and High Technology

On April 26, 2007, 19 student teams from HBS and Harvard's schools of Medicine, Law, Engineering, Government, Public Health, and Arts and Sciences will present commercialization projects for scientific discoveries made predominantly in research labs and Harvard affiliated hospitals and local businesses. The program is open to alumni and takes place on the HBS campus from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm in Spangler Center's Williams Room.
