HBS Alumni Board Nominations
The HBS Alumni Board comprises approximately 46 members, 12 of whom are newly appointed to the Board each year. Nominating Committee members carefully review over a hundred candidates each year. This means many nominees may be asked to resubmit their applications in subsequent years. Once we receive a nominee's application, it remains in the active pool (if not selected) for 3 years after which the name must be resubmitted. Final recommendations are presented to the overall Board for ratification at the spring board meeting in June.
In order to be included in the 2009/2010 active pool for consideration, a nomination by a fellow alumnus/na and a nominee application must be received by September 1, 2009. The Alumni Board Nominating Committee reviews applications between September 2009–May 2010. New Alumni Board members for 2010–2011 will be announced in June 2010.
