- Event Descriptions
Thursday Night Reception: Light hors d'oeuvres and cocktails will be served at the Liberty Hotel. Guests and children are welcome!
Friday Faculty Presentations (HBS Campus): The day begins with the dean's State of the School address, followed by talks by current faculty on their research. Guests are welcome. All returning classes have the opportunity to attend these sessions, and seating is first come, first served.
Friday Night Section Party: Please see Social Events below for your party's details and contact information; contact your host directly to find out if children are invited. This is the only part of the weekend just for your section! Guests are welcome to this event!
Saturday Academic Program (HBS Campus): The first part of the day features invited speakers from the Harvard community. Guests are welcome. All returning classes have the opportunity to attend these sessions; seating is first come, first served.
Saturday Cross-Class Industry Panels (HBS Campus): These discussions focus on specific industries and are composed of alumni from reunioning classes as well as Harvard faculty. Guests are welcome to attend all sessions. All returning classes have the opportunity to attend these sessions, and seating is first come, first served.
Saturday Night Gala: The gala is a class wide event that will be held at the Boston Public Library from 7pm–1am. Dinner reception stations and cocktails will be available, and musical entertainment will be provided at this mix-and-mingle style event, allowing you to connect with the entire class. Plan on cocktail attire. Round-trip transportation will be provided from the host hotel. This event is not appropriate for children. Guests are invited to this event!

During the 2010 spring reunion festivities, alumni children and grandchildren are invited to participate in wonderful daytime and evening programs that are designed especially for them! There are a variety of activities: active games; arts and crafts; unique toys and imaginative play; and, for older children, a chance to take part in an HBS case discussion. Transportation has been arranged to shuttle you between campus events and the host hotel. Round trip transportation will be provided on Saturday night between the host hotel and the Class Gala.Parking
Parking on campus will be tight during Reunion Weekend. As we are not able to guarantee you a parking space on campus, HBS encourages you to make use of bus transportation whenever possible.Attire
Temperatures have ranged from 50s at night to 80s during the day. We suggest you bring light clothing, but also a jacket and sweater, and, of course, rain gear.Friday evening attire is based on your section event so please review the party details listed under the Section Party tab. Attire for Saturday evening Class Gala is Cocktail. Casual attire is appropriate for the rest of the weekend activities.
HBS Merchandise
The HBS Coop will be open to alumni during reunion weekend.Shad Fitness Center
During the reunion, your nametag will allow you to use Shad Hall Fitness Center. Towels, lockers, and equipment are available.Call ahead to 617.495.6060 to arrange use of basketball, volleyball, badminton, squash, racquetball, and tennis courts. A fitness room, indoor track, sauna, and whirlpool are also available. The fitness area is limited to people over age 18.
Internet Access
Computers with Internet access are available in Aldrich and Hawes Hall corridors, and Spangler Center common rooms on Friday and Saturday.
