Giving to HBS

Research is central to the School's mission. HBS faculty conduct research in more than 40 countries to create knowledge that has power in practice. The result—more than 350 new cases each year—is the heart of the MBA and Executive Education curriculum and the foundation of management education everywhere: approximately 80 percent of the cases used at business schools worldwide are developed at HBS.

This work is capital intensive. Last year the School spent $84 million to support faculty research, a figure that will certainly grow to meet the demand for management knowledge in an expanding global economy.
