- Anonymous Fellowship
The Anonymous Fellowship was established through the generosity of an anonymous member of the MBA Class of 1971. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students.
- Berylson Family (MBA 1979) Fellowship
The Berylson Family Fellowship was established through the generosity of Amy Berylson, MBA 1979, and John Berylson, MBA 1979. Close friends of both the School and the University, the Berylsons have served on several class reunion fundraising committees at HBS, and Mrs. Berylson is a member of both the Committee on University Resources and the Committee to Visit the College. Mr. Berylson is the chairman of Chestnut Hill Ventures. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students.
- The Mace P. Blicksilver (MBA 1980) Endowed Fellowship
The Mace P. Blicksilver Endowed Fellowship was established through the generosity of Mace P. Blicksilver, MBA 1980. Mr. Blicksilver founded Marblehead Trading Group in 1998 to conduct proprietary option arbitrage trading. Prior to that, he held managerial and trading positions at several major Wall Street firms. Mr. Blicksilver graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Brooklyn College in 1976 before earning his MBA with distinction from HBS. He and his wife, Deborah (Deemer), live in Sands Point, New York, with their two children. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students who attended Brooklyn College or other public colleges.
- Brock (MBA 1983) Family Fellowship
The Brock Family Fellowship was established through the generosity of Jane Brock-Wilson, MBA 1983, in honor of her 25th Reunion. Ms. Brock-Wilson joined Berkshire Partners, a Boston based private equity firm, in 1991 and has been a managing director since 1994. Prior to Berkshire, she was a partner at Bain & Company, a global business consulting firm. She received her Bachelor of Science from Purdue University in 1978. Ms. Brock-Wilson has an abiding commitment to encourage and support women in business. It is her hope that her positive experiences at HBS and this fund will encourage women to pursue MBA and/or doctoral degrees at the School.
- Carolyn Schwenker Brody (MBA 1983) Fellowship
The Carolyn Schwenker Brody Fellowship was established through the generosity of Carolyn Schwenker Brody, MBA 1983. A graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, Ms. Brody received a master's in urban planning from the University of Pennsylvania before attending HBS. After a career in real estate investment banking, she has become a leader in the non-profit sector. Ms. Brody is a trustee of the National Trust for Historic Preservation and of Kenyon College. She is vice chair of the Chairman's Council of Conservation International. She has served as chair of the National Building Museum and on the board of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. She was appointed to the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts and served from 1994 to 2003. Ms. Brody's professional and non-profit experiences have led to an ardent interest in environmental sustainability and how business is addressing environmental issues. This fund will be used to provide fellowships to deserving MBA students, with preference given to members of the HBS Business & Environment Club.
- Kenneth D. Brody (MBA 1971) International Endowment
The Kenneth D. Brody International Endowment was established through the generosity of Kenneth Brody, MBA 1971, in celebration of his 25th Reunion. Mr. Brody is a co-founder of Taconic Capital Advisors, an event-driven hedge fund. Previously, he spent 20 years at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he co-headed the firm's long-term principal investing activities and was a general partner and a member of the Management Committee. From 1993 to 1996, he served as president and chairman of the Export-Import Bank of the United States. Mr. Brody originally established this fund to assist managers from the Czech Republic in gaining general management and business skills through the School's Executive Education programs. He later expanded the fund terms to support deserving MBA students from developing countries, with a preference for students from Central Europe or Asia.
- Eleanor and Leslie Carr Fellowship
The Eleanor and Leslie Carr Fellowship was established through the generosity of Dayton Carr, MBA 1965, in honor of his parents. Mr. Carr is the founder and president of Venture Capital Fund of America, Inc., the first investment firm to specialize in the purchase of secondary interests in private equity funds. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students with entrepreneurial backgrounds or career interests in entrepreneurship.
- Cashin Family (MBA 1980) Fellowship
The Cashin Family Fellowship was established through the generosity of Lisa and Dick Cashin, MBA 1980, in honor of the School's first capital campaign. Mr. Cashin is Managing Partner of One Equity Partners, a private equity firm managing over $5 billion in investments and commitments for JPMorgan Chase & Co. Mrs. Cashin has served as the director of underwriting and consulted with the Local Initiatives Support Group in New York. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students.

The Harold Rubenstein, Bonnie Cohen, and Eli Cohen Fellowship was established through the generosity of Bonnie Cohen, MBA 1967, and Eli Cohen, MBA 2006, in honor of three generations educated at HBS. Ms. Cohen is an active HBS volunteer and currently serves on the School's Visiting Committee. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students who live in the United States.
- Confidential Fellowship
The Confidential Fellowship was established through the generosity of a confidential donor. While the donor has enjoyed a distinguished and fulfilling career in business, it was not without its challenges as a woman in a predominantly male field. The donor has an abiding commitment to encourage and support women in business. Therefore, it is her hope that her positive experiences in the business world and this fund will encourage women to pursue MBA degrees at the School.

The Michael F. Cronin Fellowship was established through the generosity of Michael F. Cronin, MBA 1977, in celebration of his 30th Reunion. Mr. Cronin is the co-founder and managing partner of Weston Presidio, a private equity firm. A long-standing volunteer for the School, he currently serves as HBS Fund chairman, 30th Reunion Gift co-chair, and a member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors. Mr. Cronin, also a graduate of Harvard College, was a fellowship recipient himself. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students with a background and/or an ongoing interest in social enterprise.

- Ashraf M. Dahod (MBA 1981) Fellowship
The Ashraf M. Dahod Fellowship was established through the generosity of Ashraf M. Dahod, MBA 1981, in honor of his 25th Reunion at HBS. Mr. Dahod is the co-founder, CEO, and president of Starent Networks, Corp., a designer and developer of mobile infrastructure equipment for wireless networks. Prior to Starent, Mr. Dahod co-founded NetCore Systems, which was acquired by Tellabs, and Sigma Networks Systems, which was acquired by Standard Microsystems Corporation. Directly following his graduation from HBS, he founded Applitek Corporation, which developed the first cable modem. It was later renamed LANcity and acquired by Bay Networks. In addition to his HBS MBA, Mr. Dahod holds a B.Sc. in physics from the University of Bombay, a BSEE from the University of Michigan, an MSEE from Stanford University, and an MSEM from Northeastern University. With an enduring commitment to supporting women in business, it is his hope that this fellowship fund will encourage women to pursue an MBA degree at HBS.

The John A. Davis Fellowship was established through the generosity of John A. Davis, MBA 1981, in honor of his 25th Reunion. Mr. Davis is the founder and chairman of Davis Entertainment, a film and television company that has produced more than 75 films. He is also a venture capitalist partnered in Stone Canyon Venture Partners. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students from South Central Los Angeles or the Greater Los Angeles area.
- Mark N. Diker (MBA 1996) Fellowship
The Mark N. Diker Fellowship was established through the generosity of Mark Diker, MBA 1996, in celebration of his 10th Reunion. Mr. Diker is a co-founder and general partner of Diker Management, an investment management firm focused on micro and small cap stock investing in the technology, consumer, healthcare, and energy industries. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students with an interest in the arts or a background in information technology.
- Dimon (MBA 1982) HBS/HKS Fellowship
The Dimon HBS/HKS Fellowship was established through the generosity of Judy and Jamie Dimon, both MBA 1982, to provide financial assistance to deserving HBS/HKS students pursuing a joint degree. Mr. Dimon is the CEO and chairman of the board of JPMorgan Chase, a leading global financial services firm. He also served as CEO and chairman of Bank One Corporation prior to its merger in 2004 with JPMorgan Chase. He serves on a number of boards, including the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the New York University Medical Center, and the United Negro College Fund. Mrs. Dimon is a founding member of the Campaign to Expand Community Schools in Chicago and the Educational Advisory Board of the Children's Aid Society. Her work focuses on reforming the public education system to provide students and families with the time, services, programs, and support they need to overcome the challenges of poverty. Prior to her work in the nonprofit sector, she was a vice president at the American Express subsidiary Shearson Lehman and an associate at Booz Allen Hamilton.
- Alexander W. Dreyfoos (MBA 1958) Fellowship
The Alexander W. Dreyfoos Fellowship was established through the generosity of Alexander Dreyfoos, MBA 1958, on the occasion of his 50th Reunion. Mr. Dreyfoos has a distinguished career as a scientist, corporate leader, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He founded and directs The Dreyfoos Group, a private capital management firm that grew out of his previous ventures. These include the Photo Electronics Corporation, a manufacturer of electronic equipment for the photographic industry which he co-founded in 1963, and WPEC-TV-12, the ABC, then CBS, affiliate in West Palm Beach, with which he was involved from 1973 to 1996. Mr. Dreyfoos has demonstrated a commitment to philanthropy and social entrepreneurship and has also played a leadership role in supporting the performing arts in Palm Beach. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students who attended the Alexander Dreyfoos School for the Performing Arts; students who received an undergraduate degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology; and students with a background in engineering and/or the sciences.
- Fascitelli Family (MBA 1982 and MBA 1984) Fellowship
The Fascitelli Family Fellowship was established through the generosity of Michael D. Fascitelli, MBA 1982, and Elizabeth C. Fascitelli, MBA 1984, in honor of each of their 25th Reunions. Mr. Fascitelli is currently president of Vornado Realty Trust, one of the largest owners and managers of real estate in the United States. Mrs. Fascitelli is currently a partner managing director at Goldman Sachs. Both Mr. and Mrs. Fascitelli serve on the board of the New York University Child Study Center. Mr. Fascitelli is also a trustee of The Rockefeller University and a board member of St. Bernard's School. Mr. Fascitelli is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, and Mrs. Fascitelli is a graduate of Dartmouth College. Dedicated Harvard alumni, both Mr. and Mrs. Fascitelli have served on the HBS Board of Dean's Advisors since 2003. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students.

Paul J. Finnegan (MBA 1982) Family Fellowship
The Paul J. Finnegan Family Fellowship was established through the generosity of Paul J. Finnegan, MBA 1982, in honor of his 25th Reunion. Mr. Finnegan is co-CEO of Madison Dearborn Partners, a private equity investment firm he co-founded in 1992. The company focuses on a number of industries including manufacturing, communications, consumer goods, financial services, and healthcare. Prior to Madison Dearborn's establishment, Mr. Finnegan worked at First Chicago Venture Capital. He is a 1975 graduate of Harvard College and has been an active member of the Harvard community, presently serving on the board of overseers. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students.

The Richard B. Fisher Fellowship was established to honor the memory of Richard B. Fisher, MBA 1962. Mr. Fisher had a distinguished career at Morgan Stanley, serving as president and later chairman. He was an active and dedicated HBS alumnus who served on the Board of Dean's Advisors and several class reunion committees. The fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students.

The Fouts Family Fellowship was established through the generosity of J. Louis Fouts, MBA 1996, and Heather Wister Fouts, MBA 1997. Mr. Fouts is a partner at Water Street Capital, a large hedge fund in Jacksonville, Florida, and he is a member of the Board of Directors of the Jacksonville Zoo. Ms. Fouts is involved in several philanthropic activities in the Jacksonville area. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students from Jacksonville.
- Tracey and David Frankel (MBA 2003) Fellowship in Memory of Sheldon Cohen (MBA 2003)
The Tracey and David Frankel Fellowship in Memory of Sheldon Cohen was established through the generosity of Tracey and David Frankel, MBA 2003, in honor of Mr. Frankel's 5th Reunion. Mr. Frankel is a co-founder of Altirah Capital, a South African private equity and hedge fund group. He is also a director of Rand Merchant Bank (RMB). Mr. Frankel was a co-founder and the chairman of HealthBridge and is currently the chairman of Cura Risk. The fund's honoree, Sheldon Cohen, MBA 2003, was the CEO of Amalgamated Appliances, South Africa's largest manufacturer and distributor of consumer electronics and appliances. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students.

- Emily Stone Gelb (MBA 2005) and James H. Stone (MBA 1962) Fellowship
The Emily Stone Gelb and James H. Stone Fellowship was established through the generosity of Mr. James H. Stone, MBA 1962, in honor of his daughter, Emily Stone Gelb, MBA 2005. A native of Chicago and community leader there, Mr. Stone pursued a varied career in business management culminating in the founding of Stone Management Corporation in 1969. His dedication to education, reasonable discourse, the arts, and the needs of local communities has led him to leadership involvement with major universities, civic groups, arts organizations, and community groups. Ms. Stone Gelb taught under-resourced middle-school students in Manhattan Public Schools before becoming a manager of start-up school operations for the nation's leading private manager of public schools. Following HBS, she returned to the education sector as national director of implementation for Kaplan K12 Learning Services. Ms. Stone Gelb is currently vice president of regional operations at Teach for America. This fund is to be awarded first to deserving MBA students with a background or interest in the field of education and then to students with a background or interest in the non-profit sector.
- George (MBA 1966) Leadership Fellows
The George Leadership Fellows fund was established through the generosity of Penny and William W. George, MBA 1966, in honor of Mr. George's 40th Reunion at HBS. Mr. George, the former chairman and CEO of Medtronic, Inc, was awarded the School's highest honor, the Alumni Achievement Award, in 1997. In 2004, he joined the HBS faculty, where he is a Professor of Management Practice and a former Henry B. Arthur Fellow of Ethics. Dedicated supporters of the School, Penny and Bill George are past members of the Board of Dean's Advisors, and he has been an active volunteer and leader for the Class of 1966 reunion campaigns. The Georges began supporting fellowships at the School in 1998. It is their hope that this fellowship will help to ensure that opportunities to attend HBS are available to students with an interest in public service, particularly those enrolled in the School's joint degree program with the Kennedy School of Government.
- Joe Grasser (MBA 1976) Entrepreneurial Leadership Fund
The Joe Grasser Entrepreneurial Leadership Fund was established through the generosity of the friends and family of Joe Grasser, MBA 1976. Mr. Grasser graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Latin American studies, spent a year in Peru where he established a school for karate, and returned to the United States where he joined Chase Manhattan Bank. While at HBS, he and two fellow classmates formed NKG Consulting. After graduation, Mr. Grasser joined The Saddlebrook Corporation, a start-up software company where he held the first official sales and marketing position. Mr. Grasser passed away at the age of 32. He was a leader in all his pursuits and inspired many others to start their own businesses. This fund is designed to encourage the spirit of entrepreneurial leadership and is to be awarded to deserving MBA or DBA students who founded businesses prior to attending HBS or to students who have demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship while enrolled at the School.

The Anne Dias Griffin Fellowship was established through the generosity of Anne Dias Griffin, MBA 1997. Ms. Griffin is the founder and managing partner of Aragon Global Management, a fund that invests in global equities. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students from Europe with a finance background.

The Leonard M. and Fleur Cates Harlan Fellowship was established through the generosity of Fleur Cates Harlan, MBA 1977, and Leonard M. Harlan, MBA 1961, DBA 1965. Mrs. Harlan is a former partner and managing director at R.S. Lauder, Gaspar & Co. She is a trustee of the Manhattan Institute. At HBS, she serves on the Board of Dean's Advisors. Mr. Harlan is the co-founder and chairman of the Executive Committee of Castle Harlan, Inc. At HBS, he has served on the Board of Dean's Advisors, the Visiting Committee, the Alumni Association Board of Directors, and as chair of several class reunion campaigns. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students from Israel.
- Walter H. Haydock (MBA 1979) Fellowship
The Walter H. Haydock Fellowship was established through the generosity of Walter H. Haydock, MBA 1979. Mr. Haydock attended HBS after graduating from Princeton University in 1975 and working for two years at McGraw-Hill, Inc. Upon earning his MBA, he became an associate in the Securities Sales department of Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York, working with wealthy investors. Named a partner in the firm in 1994, he spent his entire career in the Wealth Management area in a variety of positions. Since his retirement in 2001, Mr. Haydock has been active as a private investor. It is his hope and intention that the income from this fund will make the educational opportunity of attending HBS possible for talented students in need of financial aid, with a preference for those from New York City, those with an interest in investing, or those with an interest in finance.
- Heller (MBA 1982) Family Fellowship
The Heller Family Fellowship was established through the generosity of Beth Moss Heller, MBA 1982, and William J. Heller, MBA 1982, in honor of their 25th Reunion. The Hellers are partners in Falck Renewables, a renewable energy company based in London with a portfolio of wind energy projects across Europe and in India. A graduate of Princeton University, Mrs. Heller was previously a senior executive at the Walt Disney Company. After attending McGill University, Mr. Heller pursued a career in energy, serving as a partner in the energy practice of McKinsey & Company and CEO of Edison Mission Energy before founding Falck Renewables in 2002. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students with a minimum of two years work experience outside the United States or students with work experience in the field of renewable energy.
- David Milton Hicks (MBA 1960) Entrepreneurship Fellowship
The David Milton Hicks Entrepreneurship Fellowship was established through the generosity of the Clements, Hicks, and Quazzo families in honor of David Milton Hicks, MBA 1960. The fund honors the accomplishments of Mr. Hicks, a lifelong entrepreneur in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. A 1958 graduate of Amherst College, Mr. Hicks served as chairman, CEO, and president of Computer Power, Inc., (CPI) for 25 years. He has also chaired several other highly successful start-up enterprises including: Alliance Mortgage Company (now Everbank), Enterprise National Bank, and U.K.-based self storage business Space Maker Property Holdings, LLC. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students who are entrepreneurial and aspire to build their own business.

The Hollyhock Foundation Fellowship was established through the generosity of the Hollyhock Foundation. It is the foundation's hope that this fellowship fund will make the transforming educational experience of HBS accessible to the broadest range of talented students, who without financial aid would not be able to attend HBS.

- Thomas James (MBA 1966) Fellowship
The Thomas James Fellowship was established through the generosity of Thomas A. James, MBA 1966, in celebration of his 40th Reunion. Mr. James is the chairman and CEO of Raymond James Financial, Inc., a diversified financial services holding company whose subsidiaries engage primarily in securities brokerage, investment banking, asset management, and banking services. As a dedicated alumnus of Harvard Business School, Mr. James and his wife, Mary, are members of the Board of Dean's Advisors and he served as major gifts co-chair for his 40th Reunion. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students who are interested in a career in finance or have worked in the financial services industry.

The JJR Fellowship was established through the generosity of a member of the MBA Class of 1975, in honor of the class's 30th Reunion at HBS. It is the donor's hope that this fund will make the transforming educational experience of HBS accessible to the broadest range of talented students, with a preference for MBA and doctoral students from Israel.
- Robert S. Kaplan (MBA 1983) Life Sciences Fellowship
The Robert S. Kaplan Life Sciences Fellowship was established through the generosity of Robert S. Kaplan, MBA 1983, in honor of his 25th Reunion. Mr. Kaplan currently serves as a professor of management practice at HBS and as a senior director of The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. From November 2007 until July 2008, he also served as acting president and CEO of Harvard Management Company, where he currently serves as member of the board of directors. He serves on many nonprofit boards, including the Harvard NeuroDiscovery Center, Project A.L.S., The TEAK Fellowship, Harvard Medical School, and The Jewish Theological Seminary. He has been appointed by the Governor of Kansas as a member of the Kansas Healthcare Policy Authority Board. This fund is to be awarded to first-year MBA students with a background in life sciences.
- Karr Family (MBA 1997) Fellowship
The Karr Family Fellowship was established through the generosity of Adam R. Karr, MBA 1997, and Tonia Gladney Karr, MBA 1997, in honor of their 10th Reunion at HBS. It is the Karrs' hope that this fellowship fund will make HBS accessible to the broadest range of talented students, particularly those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds who grew up in the inner cities of the United States. Adam Karr is managing director of Orbis Investment Management (U.S.), LLC, an investment firm in San Francisco. In addition, he is a trustee of the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation Endowment and a director of Sponsors for Educational Opportunity. Tonia Karr, a former investment banker, is involved in several philanthropic activities and has served as a volunteer for the Class of 1997 since she graduated. The Karrs, who met at HBS, reside in San Francisco.

The Barbara Guss Kemp and Gil Kemp Fellowship was established through the generosity of Barbara and Gil Kemp, MBA 1976, on the occasion of his 30th Reunion. Mr. Kemp is the founder and president of Home Decorators Collection, a leader in catalogue and online sales of home décor merchandise. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students from Vietnam or China.
- Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Student Association Fellowship
The LGBT Student Association Fellowship was established through the generosity of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender alumni and other supporters. The donors have a steadfast commitment to diversity and inclusion. Diversity among the student body is a foundation for the HBS experience, and sexual orientation and gender identity are significant contributors to diversity at the School. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students who are members of the LGBT Student Association.
- Andrew Kates, MBA 1991, Section F Memorial Fellowship
The Andrew Kates, MBA 1991, Section F Memorial Fellowship was established through the generosity of members of the Class of 1991 Section F in memory of their sectionmate, who was a victim of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Born and raised outside Philadelphia, Mr. Kates received a BA in English from Wesleyan University and worked at Bain and Company before he helped launch Bright Horizons, a work-site child care company. A father of three who was known for his passion, generous spirit, and extraordinary sense of humor, Mr. Kates was an accomplished athlete who worked hard and gave much of himself. On September 11, he was working in the World Trade Center as a senior managing director at Cantor Fitzgerald. He was able to call his family and tell them he loved them before the tower fell. His charisma, warmth, and energy attracted close friends at HBS and in all parts of his life. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students with a preference for those who are parents, have a liberal arts degree (particularly from Wesleyan University), or are from Pennsylvania.
- Angelos Markides Fellowship
The Angelos Markides Fellowship was established through the generosity of Fredo Arias-King, MBA 1996, in honor of his 10th Reunion at HBS. Mr. Arias-King is president of T&R Chemicals, Inc., a manufacturer of pine chemicals, and is actively involved in democracy-promotion projects in Eastern Europe and Mexico. The founder of Demokratizatsiya: The Journal of Post-Soviet Democratization, Mr. Arias-King is the author of two books on transitions to democracy. He created the Angelos Markides Fellowship fund to provide financial assistance to deserving MBA recipients, with a preference for students from Cyprus.
- Roger Martin (MBA 1981) Fund for Doctoral Research
The Roger Martin Fund for Doctoral Research was established through the generosity of Roger Martin, MBA 1981, at the time of his 25th Reunion at HBS. Mr. Martin set up the fund in memory of his academic mentor, Professor John Lintner, who was chairman of the joint Ph.D. program in Business Economics at Harvard. Since 1998, Mr. Martin has served as dean of the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto, where he is also a professor of strategic management. Originally from Wallenstein, Ontario, Mr. Martin was formerly a director of Monitor Company, a global strategy consulting firm based in Cambridge, Massachusetts. During his 13 years with Monitor, he founded and chaired Monitor University, the firm's educational arm; served as co-head of the firm for two years; and founded the Canadian office. Mr. Martin's research interests lie in the areas of global competitiveness, integrative thinking, business design, and corporate citizenship. He received an AB from Harvard College, with a concentration in economics, and an MBA from HBS. Income from this fellowship fund will be used to support two doctoral students pursuing a Ph.D. in Business Economics.

The MBA Class of 1958 Fellowship was established through the generosity of members of the MBA Class of 1958 in honor of their 50th Reunion at HBS. Under the leadership of Honorary Reunion Chair William H. Donaldson and Reunion Gift Co-Chairs Charles M. Diker and Frederick R. Meyer, the Class of 1958 created this fellowship fund to ensure that the transformative educational experience of HBS remained accessible to the broadest range of talented students who, without financial aid, would not be able to attend HBS.

The MBA Class of 1971 Fellowship was established with gifts from the members of the Class of 1971 on the occasion of their 35th Reunion. Members of the class have served on the Alumni Association Board of Directors and the Board of Dean's Advisors, as HBS club officers, and as Bulletin correspondents. The class has supported several specific initiatives at Harvard Business School to further business education; fellowships are one such effort. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students.

The MBA Class of 2006 Fellowship was established with gifts from the members of the Class of 2006 in celebration of their graduation from Harvard Business School. Reflecting the global economy, today's HBS students come from close to 70 countries and represent a diversity of sectors, ranging from nonprofits to multinationals to government agencies. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students with a nontraditional background or from an underrepresented region or developing country.

The MBA Class of 2007 Fellowship was established through the generosity of members of the MBA Class of 2007 in celebration of their graduation from HBS. With 83 percent participation, the class established the fund to support deserving MBA students.
- MBA Class of 2008 Centennial Fellowship
The MBA Class of 2008 Centennial Fellowship was established through the generosity of the class in celebration of their graduation and in honor of the School's centennial. A record breaking number of 2008 class members contributed to the creation of this fellowship. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students.
- Frederick and Barbara Meyer MBA Fellowship
The Frederick and Barbara Meyer MBA Fellowship was established through the generosity of Barbara and Frederick R. Meyer, MBA 1958, in honor of Mr. Meyer's 50th Reunion. Mr. Meyer is the retired chairman, president, and CEO of Aladdin Industries. He was also employed by the Tyler Corporation from 1967 to 1986, ultimately serving as president and COO. Mr. Meyer earned a BSME with high distinction from Purdue University in 1949 and was a Baker Scholar at HBS. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955. Mr. Meyer is an active leader and volunteer with many nonprofit organizations, including service as vice chairman of the board of the Cooper Institute, as a trustee at Austin College, and as a member of the U.S. Naval Academy board of visitors. In addition, Mr. Meyer has played a leading role in supporting local, state, and national political activities, including tenure as the chairman of the Republican National Committee's Victory 2000 effort. Mrs. Meyer is a 1951 graduate of Indiana University. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students.
- Christopher Michel (MBA 1998) Fellowship
The Christopher Michel Fellowship was established through the generosity of Christopher Michel, MBA 1998, in honor of his 10th Reunion. Mr. Michel is the managing director of Nautilus Ventures. Previously, he founded and sold two companies: Military.com and Affinity Labs. Mr. Michel also served as a naval flight officer in the U.S. Navy, worked in the Pentagon as aide to the chief of the Naval Reserve, and is the author of The Military Advantage. He serves as a director of Dale Carnegie and Alliance Health Corporations and is a governor on the USO World Board. He is also a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute and a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students with a military background.

The Pericles Navab and David Luttway Fellowship was established through the generosity of Pericles Navab, MBA 1996, and David Luttway, MBA 1996, in celebration of their 10th Reunion. Mr. Navab and Mr. Luttway are private investors focusing on middle market companies. They own and operate PITCO Foods, one of the leading wholesale cash-and-carry companies in the United States, serving grocery retailers and food-service operators. Having immigrated to the United States from Iran and France, respectively, Mr. Navab and Mr. Luttway strongly believe in supporting education through philanthropy. It is their preference that this endowed fund be awarded to deserving international MBA students with a background in retail, manufacturing, operations, or purchasing.
- Emil J. Pansky (MBA 1949) Fund
The Emil J. Pansky Fund was established through a generous bequest from Emil J. Pansky, MBA 1949. Mr. Pansky passed away in January 2007 at the age of 86. Born in 1921, he was raised in New York City. He received his bachelors and masters degrees from Cooper Union College, followed by his MBA from HBS. He worked at Ford Motor Company and at Republic Aviation during and after World War II before creating his own very successful businesses in Oakland, California, and Santa Clara, California. Mr. Pansky and his wife, Billie, were avid tennis players and world travelers, and Mr. Pansky was also very active in fundraising efforts on behalf of HBS. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students.
- John C. Phelan (MBA 1990) Fellowship
TheJohn C. Phelan Fellowship was established through the generosity ofJohn C. Phelan, MBA 1990, in honor of his 15th Reunion at HBS. Mr.Phelan is a managing partner of MSD Capital, a firm he co-founded in1998 that now has nine portfolio strategies, 90 employees, and over $13billion in assets under management. Prior to forming MSD, Mr. Phelanwas a principal for six years at ESL Partners, an investment firm basedin Greenwich, Connecticut, where he was responsible for its SpecialSituation Investments and helped grow the firm from over $50 million tomore than $2 billion in assets under management. Mr. Phelan is a formervice president of the Equity Group, where he was in charge ofacquisitions (Western Region) for the Zell/Merrill Lynch Real EstateOpportunity Funds. A member of numerous corporate and non-profitboards, Mr. Phelan co-chaired his HBS 15th Reunion gift campaign. Thisfund will provide fellowships to deserving MBA students.

The Mark B. Plunkett Fellowship was established through the generosity of Mark B. Plunkett, MBA 2002, in celebration of his 5th Reunion. Mr. Plunkett currently works for Atlas Capital, a hedge fund based in Dallas. A dedicated supporter of the School, he has served as the Class of 2002 fundraising co-chair since graduation and was an active member of The Campaign for Harvard Business School Fellowship Advisory Board. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students from Texas or Arkansas.
- Todd Plutsky (MBA 2003) Law and Business Fellowship
The Todd Plutsky Law and Business Fellowship was established through the generosity of Todd Plutsky, MBA 2003, in honor of his 5th Reunion. Mr. Plutsky worked in investment banking at J.P. Morgan before continuing his education at HBS and Harvard Law School as a member of the JD/MBA Program (JD 2004). Applying this multidisciplinary education, Mr. Plutsky has pursued endeavors both in investment management at Canyon Capital and Ivory Capital, as well as entrepreneurial leadership at his family company, Pioneer Photo Albums. Most recently, Mr. Plutsky launched his own investment management firm with an HBS classmate. This fellowship is to be awarded to deserving MBA students pursuing a joint degree with the Harvard Law School; students who earned Juris Doctor degrees prior to enrolling in the MBA Program; students who have cross registered for at least two courses at Harvard Law School; and students with a demonstrated interest and/or background in legal/regulatory and business studies.

The Thomas Rattigan Endowed Fund was established through the generosity of Thomas J. Rattigan, MBA 1962, and his wife, Jane. Mr. Rattigan is a retired corporate executive, consultant, and private investor. He currently lives in Florida. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students.
- Andrew C. (MBA 2003) and Elizabeth S. (MBA 2003) Right Fellowship
The Andrew C. and Elizabeth S. Right Fellowship was established through the generosity of Mr. and Mrs. Right, both MBA 2003, in honor of their 5th Reunion. Mr. Right is a vice president in the Infrastructure Investment Group within the Merchant Banking Division at Goldman Sachs in New York. He received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University in 1997 and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and he was named a Baker Scholar at HBS. Mrs. Right graduated cum laude from Yale University in 1998. She is an author and freelance magazine writer. She co-authored a non-fiction book, Your Perfect Fit, published in January 2008 by McGraw-Hill. She is also actively involved with several non-profits, while raising the couple's twins. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students who have served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces and are parents; students who have served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces; and students who are reservists in the U.S. Armed Forces.
- Saylak Yablon (MBA 1987) Not-for-Profit Fellowship
The Saylak Yablon Not-for-Profit Fellowship was established through the generosity of Thomas J. Saylak, MBA 1987, Section C, and Bruce E. Yablon, MBA 1987, Section C, on the occasion of their 20th Reunion at HBS. Mr. Saylak's and Mr. Yablon's experiences at HBS inspired them to establish a fellowship to promote opportunities for those who have devoted their time to not-for-profit organizations. It is their hope that this fund will make the transforming educational experience of HBS accessible to those who have dedicated the beginning of their career to the not-for-profit arena. Mr. Saylak, a private investor, upon earning his MBA joined the Trammell Crow Company and served as a principal in Trammell Crow Ventures, the firm's opportunistic real estate investment arm. In 1993, he co-founded Blackstone Real Estate Advisors, one of the largest and most successful real estate managers in the world. Most recently, he served as president of Merrill Lynch Global Commercial Real Estate. Mr. Yablon is also a private investor, having spent his career in the financial sector. He joined Bear Stearns upon earning his MBA and was later promoted to senior managing director. In 1997 he left Bear Sterns and later joined Renaissance Technologies Corp., a hedge fund manager dedicated to trading based on mathematical principles.
- Professor Benson P. Shapiro (MBA 1965, DBA 1970) Fellowship
The Professor Benson P. Shapiro Fellowship fund was established in 2007 through the generosity of Wei Ching, Walter R. Cook, John Davenport Mosby III, Henri I. Talerman, and Peter J. Wirth, all members of the MBA Class of 1982, Section A, in honor of their 25th Reunion at HBS. This fund honors Professor Benson P. Shapiro, MBA 1965, DBA 1970, the Malcolm P. McNair Professor of Marketing Emeritus, who was the first-year Marketing professor for Section A, Class of 1982. A well-known authority on marketing strategy and sales management with particular interests in pricing, product line planning, and marketing organization, Professor Shapiro taught full-time at the School for 27 years. The donors established the fellowship fund to recognize Professor Shapiro's unique personal style and his mastery of the art of case-method teaching. This fund will provide fellowships to deserving MBA students.

The Laurence E. and Virginia Simmons Fellowship was established through the generosity of L.E. Simmons, MBA 1972, and Ginny Simmons in honor of his 35th Reunion at HBS. Mr. Simmons is the founder and President of SCF Partners, a Houston-based private equity firm that provides capital and strategic growth assistance to build energy service and equipment companies located around the world. Prior to founding SCF, he co-founded Simmons & Company International, the leading investment banking firm to oil-field service companies. Mr. Simmons is a member of a number of corporate and non-profit boards. A dedicated alumnus, Mr. Simmons currently serves on the School's Visiting Committee and has served as a director of the HBS Alumni Association, a reunion chairman, an HBS club leader, and an MBA alumni advisor. Mr. and Mrs. Simmons set up this fund to make the HBS experience available to a broad range of talented students, who without financial aid would not be able to attend HBS.

The Siritunga Fellowship was established through the generosity of Dilan Siritunga, MBA 1996, in celebration of his 10th Reunion. Mr. Siritunga is a senior managing director at Atticus Capital, a hedge fund based in New York City. This fellowship fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students from Sri Lanka or India.
- Craig Stapleton (MBA 1970) Fellowship
The Craig Stapleton Fellowship was established through the generosity of Walker Stapleton, MBA 2003, in honor of his father, Craig, and his 5th Reunion. Craig Roberts Stapleton, MBA 1970, has served as Ambassador to France from 2005 to 2009. Previously, he served as Ambassador to the Czech Republic from 2001 to 2004. Ambassador Stapleton was president of Marsh and McLennan Real Estate Advisors of New York from 1982 to 2001. He was also a partner of President George W. Bush in the ownership of the Texas Rangers baseball team from 1989 to 1998. Ambassador Stapleton served on the board of the Peace Corps under President George H. W. Bush. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students with a U.S. military or U.S. government service background.

The Texas Fellowship Fund was established through the generosity of members of the MBA Class of 1997 who are also alumni of undergraduate institutions in Texas. In honor of their 10th Reunion at HBS, the donors created this fund to make the HBS educational experience accessible to the broadest range of talented students. It is the donors' preference that the fellowship be awarded to students who graduated from undergraduate institutions in Texas.
- Teague (MBA 1997) Fellowship
The Teague Fellowship was established through the generosity of Paul and Teresa Teague, both members of the Class of 1997, in honor of their 10th Reunion. Mrs. Teague is a graduate of Dartmouth College. She worked as an investment banker with Goldman Sachs in New York before attending HBS. After graduating she joined Goldman in their London office, spending eight years there before returning to New York. She currently works at Goldman Sachs in their investment banking division in Hong Kong. Mr. Teague is a graduate of the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM). He worked as a management consultant for Bain and Company both before and after attending HBS. He then joined Citigroup in New York, leading their U.S. Hispanic business. Mr. Teague is currently investing in small and medium sized businesses in the region of Asia. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students from Mexico and elsewhere in Latin America.
- Navin Thukkaram (MBA 2003) Fellowship
The Navin Thukkaram Fellowship was established through the generosity of Navin Thukkaram, MBA 2003, in honor of his 5th Reunion. Mr. Thukkaram is a private investor. Previously, Mr. Thukkaram was a director in the Private Equity group of Vulcan Capital, the investment firm of Paul G. Allen, Microsoft co-founder. While at Vulcan, he served on the board of directors of Vulcan Energy Corporation (formerly Plains Resources Inc.) and Vulcan Resources Florida (formerly Calumet Florida). Prior to Vulcan, Mr. Thukkaram was a member of JLL Partners, a New York-based private equity firm, and Lazard, the global investment bank. He serves as co-chairman of the Seattle chapter of the American India Foundation and is a Fellow of the U.S.-Japan Leadership Program. Mr. Thukkaram holds a BSE, cum laude, from Princeton University. He is originally from Northbrook, Illinois, and is an avid golfer. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students from Illinois.
- Timken Family (MBA 1996) Fellowship
The Timken Family Fellowship was established through the generosity of Alexander C. Timken, MBA 1996, and Vanessa Timken to honor their son, Julian Gabriel Timken. Mr. and Mrs. Timken discovered that they were pregnant with Julian on September 11, 2001, a sign of hope on such a terrible day for humanity. As a result of neurotoxic damage possibly associated with vaccines and air quality in New York City during gestation, Julian does not speak. Their son is a bright, loving, and animated soul who has changed their lives. It is their hope that this fund will make the transforming educational experience of HBS accessible to students dedicated to serving their fellow man. A preference will be given to students enrolled in the joint degree program between HBS and Harvard Medical School.
- Brian Veasy (MBA 1965) Memorial Fellowship
The Brian Veasy Memorial Fellowship was established in memory of Brian Veasy, MBA 1965, through the generosity of his friends, his classmates, and family members. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Veasy attended Drexel University before earning his MBA at HBS. A specialist in seafood marketing, he wrote over a dozen books on the subject and served as a manager and consultant in the seafood industry. After his years in the seafood industry, Mr. Veasy began a new career - in career counseling, at which he was very skillful: he won national awards from both of the companies with which he was affiliated. Energetic and optimistic, he had the ability to make people feel good about themselves and served as an inspiration to many. Throughout his life, he was actively involved with many professional, civic, and philanthropic efforts. Mr. Veasy was a dedicated member of the HBS community: He served as Class of 1965 secretary and Section C correspondent for 40 years, as president of the HBS Association of Boston, program chair of his 40th Reunion, and as vice president of the HBS Club of Philadelphia. He was also a member of the Harvard Club of Boston. It is the family's hope that this fund be awarded to a student with a similar background to Mr. Veasy's. Preference will be given to students with experience in the seafood or food/beverage industry, in the personal services field, or in another nontraditional career prior to entering HBS.
- Dr. George (MBA 2000) and Nina Veltchev Fellowship
The Dr. George and Nina Veltchev Fellowship was established through the generosity of Dr. George Veltchev, MBA 2000, and his wife, Nina Veltchev. Dr. Veltchev is managing partner of Sigma Capital, a private equity management company with primary operations in Bulgaria. A native Bulgarian, he has been an entrepreneur since 1993. He worked in London between 1997 and 2003, initially with Lehman Brothers and subsequently at Morgan Stanley, where he was responsible for the equity derivatives and structured product sales in the Private Wealth Management division. He resigned from Morgan Stanley in 2003 to establish Sigma Capital. Before attending HBS, Dr. Veltchev earned an MS in economics and a Ph.D. in finance from the Vienna University of Economics. In 2001, he and a group of fellow Harvard alumni inaugurated the Harvard Club of Bulgaria, and he served as the club's first president, leading the organization through its initial steps and helping to formulate its goals and objectives. It is Dr. and Mrs. Veltchev's hope that this fund will provide financial assistance to deserving MBA recipients, with a preference for students from Bulgaria.
- Walmart Fellowship
The Walmart Fellowship was established through the generosity of the Walmart MBA Leadership Program. The program introduces MBAs to various aspects of the company's business through a series of one-month rotations in different departments. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students with a background in healthcare.
- Alan H. Washkowitz (MBA 1965) Family Fellowship
The Alan H. Washkowitz Family Fellowship was established through the generosity of Alan H. Washkowitz, MBA 1965, with the hope that this fund will make HBS accessible to a broad range of students. Mr. Washkowitz is a retired managing director of Lehman Brothers, Inc., where he was responsible for the oversight of Lehman Brothers Merchant Banking Partners II L.P. He had previously worked at Kuhn, Loeb & Co., joining the firm in 1968, and became a general partner of Lehman Brothers in 1978 when Kuhn, Loeb merged with Lehman. Prior to joining the Merchant Banking Group, Mr. Washkowitz headed Lehman Brothers' Financial Restructuring Group. He served in the Navy and Naval Air Reserves. In addition to his HBS MBA, he holds a JD from Columbia University and a BA from Brooklyn College. The Washkowitz family has close ties to the University: His son is a graduate of Harvard College, and his daughter will graduate from the College in 2008. The family has created a number of scholarships within the University and also supports the Kennedy School of Government and the Stem Cell Research Fund.
- John L. Weinberg (MBA 1950) Fellowship
The John L. Weinberg Fellowship was established through the generosity of the late John L. Weinberg, MBA 1950. A New York native, Mr. Weinberg was a World War II and Korean War veteran. He represented one of three generations of the Weinberg family that helped Goldman Sachs become what is now the world's most profitable securities firm. Mr. Weinberg spent his entire career at the firm and served as senior partner and chairman for almost 15 years. This fund is to be awarded to deserving doctoral students.
- Women's Student Association (WSA) Fellowship
The Women's Student Association (WSA) Fellowship was established through the generosity of graduates and friends of HBS. The WSA was created to help develop outstanding women business leaders who impact their communities with passion and integrity. The club, open to all HBS students, executes its mission by connecting and supporting students through mentoring programs, professional development workshops, networking events, speaker series, an annual conference, and social and community events across sections and with other schools and organizations. This fund is to be awarded to deserving second-year MBA students who embody the characteristics of integrity, leadership, and excellence and have contributed to the development of the women's community within HBS.
- Evan A. Wyly (MBA 1988) MBA Fellowship
The Evan A. Wyly MBA Fellowship was established through the generosity of Mr. Evan Wyly, MBA 1988, in honor of his 20th Reunion. Mr. Wyly is a co-founder of Maverick Capital, a manager of equity hedge funds since 1990, where he served as a managing partner through 2007. He is a native of Dallas, Texas, and earned a BA from Princeton University in 1984. Mr. Wyly served as a director of three publicly traded companies: Sterling Software from 1992-2000, Sterling Commerce from 1995-2000, and Michaels Stores from 1992-2001. Since 1999, he has served as a director of Green Mountain Energy, the largest retail provider of less-polluting electricity in the United States. He is a member of the Young Presidents' Organization and an emeritus member of the advisory faculty of the Institute for Private Investors. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students.
- Xander Fellowship
The Xander Fellowship was established through the generosity of Siddharth Yog, MBA 2004, in honor of Professor Arthur I. Segel. Mr. Yog and Professor Segel are co-founders of The Xander Group, a private equity firm investing primarily in real estate and infrastructure in the India subcontinent. Professor Segel is the Poorvu Family Professor of Management Practice in the Finance Unit at HBS and teaches Real Property Asset Management. Previously, he was co-founder and co-owner of TA Associates Realty and before that served as vice president at Boston Properties, and as deputy for finance and administration under Governor Michael S. Dukakis. This fund is to be awarded to deserving MBA students with a background in the real estate industry and/or those who come to HBS from India.
