Last Look - September 2010

We seem to have stumped you in part with this photo. Thanks to Rich Holbrook (MBA ’80G) for identifying the “judges” as from his section: Mace Blicksilver, Jim Elrod, Steve Messner, Martin Przybylski, and Phil Stump. But no one remembers what the course or the case were. Blicksilver remarked, “Since it appears I am holding a sneaker (or ‘trainer,’ since we’re British), I think the case concerned Adidas performance claims in the UK market.” Section-mate Christian de Juniac wrote: “I seem to remember that there was a case in which the film 12 Angry Men was used. I cannot remember for what course, but I suspect that this might have been the occasion for the photo.” Sectionmate Brion Applegate added, “For the life of me I can’t remember the case or the surrounding circum-stances!” And sectionmate E.Y. Snowden wrote, “I’m pretty sure the guy in the middle is Bob Irvin, not Steve Messner. I can’t remember exactly what they were judging, but it looks like Managerial Economics info on the blackboard in the back.”
