Join in the Centennial
You don’t have to be on campus to tap into HBS Centennial events. The School’s yearlong celebration now has a Web home — www.hbs.edu/centennial/. The site gives the Centennial 21st-century global reach tailored for an alumni audience on which the sun never sets.
On the site, you’ll find out how to join a virtual “Conversation” with HBS faculty members about cutting-edge business topics and be able to read alumni comments online — or post your own. Or learn about the monthly “Virtual Lunch” conference call discussions led by HBS professors. Each discussion concludes with a Q&A session. In addition to these online offerings, more than fifty HBS clubs have scheduled special events through 2008 as part of the School’s Global Outreach Program. Below is the April lineup of club events and faculty speakers. See the entire list at www.globaloutreach.hbs.org/events.html.
The Centennial is a time for the School to reflect on its accomplishments and explore the future of business and business education. To that end, HBS faculty have planned a series of campus colloquia to address important topics such as health care, leadership, and globalization. Key findings will be presented at the Centennial’s Business Summit October 12–14. The Centennial Web site provides a schedule for the event, a list of speakers, and an online registration form.
