Class of 2007 Arrives; MBA ’05s Go to Work

A snapshot of the MBA Program’s newest students reveals that this year’s incoming class — chosen from a pool of 6,552 applicants — represents a select, diverse group of individuals hailing from 68 countries around the world. “We’re excited to have this very talented group on campus, and we’re particularly pleased that the Class of 2007 has the highest representation of women in the School’s history,” said Brit K. Dewey (MBA ’96), managing director of MBA Admissions and Financial Aid.

As the new MBA candidates settled into life at Soldiers Field, the Class of 2005 embarked on new careers. At graduation, 94.1 percent of the Class of 2005 had received job offers; 88.1 percent had accepted one, with median total compensation of $134,438 — a slight decrease from last year’s figure of $140,000.
