Campaign Success Continues
The generous gift for the Schools doctoral programs fulfills an important need at HBS and will have a far-reaching impact. We are grateful to the thousands of alumni and friends who generously have supported the campaign, said Dean Kim B. Clark, noting that many campaign gifts, including new funds to support fellowships, technology-equipped classrooms, and the renovation of Baker Library, are already at work transforming the campus.
The campaign runs through December 2005 and Campaign Chair C.D. (Dick) Spangler Jr. (MBA 56) observed there is still time for more alumni to participate. We would like to see two-thirds of our alumni contribute to the campaign, he said, adding that this goal can be achieved in the final twelve months of the campaign.
Spangler and Clark both noted that two key campaign goals, MBA student fellowships and faculty research, are crucial. We are preparing now for the Schools second century, said Clark. Over the next several years, the effect of the campaign will be felt at every level of HBS.
