Last May, a plenary session was held to summarize and integrate the findings and recommendations gleaned from four workshops held at HBS during the academic year. Known as Corporate Governance, Leadership, and Values (CGLV), the workshop series featured participants from business, government, and academia and focused on executive compensation, limits to board effectiveness, capital market intermediaries, and management education. A principal goal of CGLV is to encourage specific actions that will lead to changes in practice.
Pictured above is SEC chairman William H. Donaldson (MBA 58), who spoke to participants at a dinner the night before the plenary session.
