Fall Reunions

Members of the Class of 1977 were treated to a special presentation by Professor Joe Badaracco on "The Moral Leader: Fiction As a Lens on Leadership"

More than twelve hundred alumni and their guests returned to campus for fall reunions held October 3–6. Attendees took advantage of the opportunities to return to the classroom, mingle with old friends and faculty members, and make new acquaintances. In his welcoming remarks, Dean Kim B. Clark discussed the School's first-ever capital campaign and updated the audience on HBS today. In mentioning the School's Leadership and Values Initiative, Clark noted, “The world rightly holds us to a higher standard. And so we must have great aspirations.”

With more than thirty faculty presentations and panels to chose from, alumni had a vast array of options for learning — from several topics related to corporate responsibility to specific sessions on branding, philanthropy, and emerging markets. The Class of 1977 set a record for attendance at a 25th Reunion with more than five hundred members of the class and their guests gathering to enjoy the festivities.
