Class Notes

News from your class mates, including June Reunion coverage.

While vacation time and idle hours reign supreme these days, HBS has remained busy this summer, generating considerable activity and news. Here at the School, the January cohort of the Class of 1999 and their professors have been hard at work, keeping the classrooms lively and the academic routine intact. The campus is also buzzing about the unfolding plans for an exciting new HBS campus center, made possible by the generosity of C.D. ("Dick") Spangler, Jr. (MBA '56) and his family.

The summer season began with reunions, Class Day ceremonies, and graduation, followed in mid-June by the Global Alumni Conference in Chicago. This issue of the Bulletin includes highlights of all those events, along with profiles of this year's Distinguished Service and Alumni Achievement Award recipients and, of course, your Class Notes. As always at this time of year, we would like to extend a welcome to the newest group of MBA and Executive Education alumni and thank the many class and section correspondents who make the Class Notes such an enjoyable way for classmates to stay in touch.

So savor your days at the beach, by the lake, or in the hammock; we'll see you again in the fall.
